ICELAND LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR

- SOUTH AND EAST, INTIMATE AND EPIC -

the highly successful tour is coming back!

February 5 - 12, 2025

Conditions were perfect on our third visit to this spot in Jan. 2024 and all our workshop members got their diamond beach golden images

Experience the landscape of Iceland on this genuinely magnificent winter tour! It features iconic locations and hidden gems. Kai has offered Iceland Winter workshops and tours for years. He will share his experience in landscape photography as a professional and successful artist and provide personalized guidance and feedback. In 2025, you can go on this highly successful tour that overwhelms even returning visitors to Iceland.

While many Iceland tours cover just the iconic locations, this tour will guide you further!

All with a small group of just 6 people, our own bus and local guide/driver, plus Kai and his assistant Sabrina.

Expect to see and photograph unique locations! A small group guarantees dedicated and personal assistance that will improve your photography with hands-on Learning in diverse settings.

Personal Assistance Tailored to Your Needs

I understand that every photographer has unique preferences and goals. That's why my landscape photography tour offers personalized assistance to ensure you get the most out of your experience. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out and have learned how to handle your camera, I will gladly provide the support and guidance you need to capture stunning images, from Icelandic classics to personal, intimate, and unique photos.

My wife Sabrina will be our dedicated tour assistant, taking care of the little things so you can focus on capturing the perfect shot.

Unforgettable Experiences in Iconic Locations

We will tour the beautiful south of Iceland. Prepare to be awe-struck as we take you to some of Iceland's most iconic locations, including the otherworldly waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, the ice lagoon Jökulsárlón, Diamond Beach, Stokksness, and Reynisdrangar, to name just a few.

Most tours do not go further east than Vestrahorn, but we will take it further east and see less photographed locations. We will stay in several hotels and guesthouses close to our designated photo locations and travel in a comfortable small bus. Each stop on our tour promises unforgettable experiences and photo opportunities that will leave you speechless.

From Dramatic to Intimate: Capture Every Moment

From the dramatic landscapes of Iceland's volcanic terrain to the intimate beauty of its diverse landscape, our photography tour covers it all. With a focus on both iconic locations and hidden gems, you'll have the opportunity to capture a diverse range of images that showcase the true essence of Iceland in Winter. Plus: get a chance to experience the Northern Lights!

More than just Photos

Again, I will team up with our official Icelandic guide and driver, David. He has been an official guide for decades and pours his knowledge, heart, and humor into our tour. He will provide plenty of insights and knowledge into Icelandic culture, something you find hardly on any other Iceland photo tours.

Don't miss your chance to join our Landscape Photography Tour Iceland and embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Book your spot today and get ready to capture the magic of Iceland through your lens!

We will visit an ice-cave. This image was taken during one of the last workshops in Iceland.

Iceland in winter is all about conditions so that we will decide and adapt throughout the days.

If you haven’t seen the northern lights yet, be ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We cannot guarantee seeing the aurora, but chances are good we will get to see them during our week-long stay.

Aside from the beautiful environment, this trip will be all about having a great experience and having fun.

I believe landscape photography to be a way of personal expression. It is an art form. Therefore, I will go with a small group of max. 6 to 7 people to get to know each other, develop your personal vision, and help you find your visual language that is really you. I will cover what you need to know in the field and the digital darkroom. You should be able to master your camera. Aside from that, this tour is for beginners and advanced photographers. It helps you see the landscape with different eyes and makes images yours.

This tour will be in German and English.
